The worldwide succesful violoncello duet 2CELLOS comes partly from Pula. While Luka Sulic (the guy with the shorter hair on the pic) is born in Maribor by croatian father and slovenian mother, Stjepan Hauser (obviously the other guy on the pic) is from Pula, representing our city in a very distinctive way.
There is almost nothing you don`t know about them, from their accidental beginning on Youtube, until the world tour with Elton John, by his own invitation.
2Cellos presented the city of Pula in their video for the GNR cover "Welcome To The Jungle", recorded completely in Pula, as well as the video for the new "The Trooper" Iron Maiden`s cover.
Update 2020: after the last album, the duo part ways, they never proclaimed the end, but never played together ever since. I suppose they ended in 2019.
